About MTP

MTP was created by Ryan Godsiff, a sixth-generation Marlburian with more than 20 years of experience in tourism and a lifelong connection to the Marlborough region.

With a broad range of practical tourism and professional experience, Ryan brings together commercial skippering, passenger transport, driving, guiding, commentary, hosting, event and conference MC work, guest services, group management and tourism operations.

Ryan holds commercial skipper qualifications, a Class 4 licence with passenger endorsement, First Aid Level 2, and industry-based management and professional development qualifications.

His knowledge of Marlborough comes from a lifetime spent here. He knows the roads, waterways, vineyards, landscapes, businesses, stories and people that make the region unique. That local knowledge, combined with a strong understanding of guest expectations and professional service, allows MTP to provide more than simply a driver, guide, skipper or host.

Tourism, events and hospitality do not always fit neatly into a nine-to-five staffing model.
